Who we are and what we do?

America House Kyiv opened in 2015 with a mission to catalyze the prosperous and democratic future of Ukraine by investing in the great potential of Ukraine’s emerging leaders and strengthening ties between Ukrainians and Americans. Through the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, America House is administrated by global development and education organization IREX.

Besides Kyiv, America House operates in Lviv and Odesa through nourishing spaces full of professional and personal growth opportunities that are the main resources in their regions for American culture and education. These centers serve as key platforms for projecting American strength, prosperity, and values to Ukrainian audiences.

America House Kyiv is an accessible, technology-forward, visitor-friendly space that is built around U.S.-Ukraine shared values for local communities' empowerment, idea sharing, and collaboration. A dynamic team of nine professionals creates a place for open dialogue, idea generation and innovation. America House organizes a wide variety of activities, including English-language programs, skill-building workshops, business and entrepreneurial programs, cultural events, art exhibits, concerts and more. It promotes economic resilience, innovation-driven growth, and robust international partnerships—core values of U.S. global engagement.
