The Babushkas of Chernobyl is a 2015 documentary film by American directors Anne Bogart and Holly Morris.
The women who survived the Chernobyl disaster live in the very heart of the Exclusion Zone. They have adapted to radiation, grow their own vegetables, and continue to run their households in their native homes despite the risks to their health and lives.
We invite you to a screening of The Babushkas of Chernobyl, followed by a speaking practice session.
